JMT Fans in India

We just heard from Auspicio F.M.Rodrigues in Goa, India. Mr. Rodrigues discovered JMT’s music online through CMN and Spirit and Song. He asks if the Monk Rock tour may ever make it to his part of the world. To which I can only say: it is in God’s hands.
Seriously, please write in here or through the JMT Site to let JMT and company know that you’re listening and where from. JMT tours throughout the US and in recent years to Ireland too but there are plenty of places that aren’t reached. I’m sure that from a Ministry standpoint John Michael would like to play everywhere. But, finances and logistics can not be ignored. Good stewardship dictates that the tour visit places that can support it. The point? If you’d like to see JMT in your town or country please let it be known and be sure to spread the word among your friends and neighbors. It could turn out that you aren’t the only one and with God, all things are possible.

  1. Dianna,
It takes roughly two years to return to a particular region of the country. We were last in your part of the country in in 2004. We are scheduled to return this spring. Many requests for concerts make it to the office. Troubadour personnel do their best to keep track of them. Routing & scheduling can be big issues. Also, it’s not unusal for a potential sponsor to make initial contact and then decide that they are not able to do everything necessary to facilitate the event. The Troubadour office keeps track of every request that comes in and often approaches potential sponsors years after their first contact. It’s delicate work putting together a concert tour that ministers to as many people as possible while remaining financially, and logistically practical.
The spring tour in the northeast (April & May) may still be accepting bookings. If you or someone you know is seriously considering a JMT event please check the booking website and make contact as soon as possible.
    God bless,
    JTC

  2. Thanks, jtc.

Contact has been made on at least 3 occasions since 2002, perhaps earlier. We are close to the Boston metro area, so we are surely not “out of the way,” so to speak.
